About the Tornadoes

The South Elgin Tornadoes Soccer Club was founded in 1998 by a committed group of players, parents and coaches. Their mission was to form a traveling soccer club to promote a quality youth soccer program in the South Elgin area. That dream was realized by the leadership of dedicated coaches and parents who continue to develop and support the organization.

Club Principles

• We are dedicated to good sportsmanship, quality instruction, and leadership. We believe that children should learn to play the game correctly -- yet fairly -- and to become the best soccer players they can be.
• We support fair and vigorous competition appropriate to the ages and capabilities of our players.
• We believe the fun of the game and the camaraderie of team sports should not, at the developmental level, be sacrificed for winning.
